Not sure? Pick the closest. We'll check on the call.

Roughly, what's your yearly turnover?

Money coming in before costs. A best guess is fine.

Where are you at right now?

This changes how we start, not what you pay each month.

Where should we send your fixed fee?

We only use your details to send your fee and arrange the call.

What fixed means here

The same fee in January as in June.

Billing by the hour punishes you for asking questions. So we don't. Your fee covers the work and the conversation.

  • Ask as much as you like. Calls and emails are part of the fee. Nobody is running a meter.
  • Changes agreed before, never after. If you register for VAT or take on staff, we agree the new fee with you first.
  • Spread across the year. No big bill in January when the tax is also due.

Your accountant

One person who knows your business and signs off your accounts and returns. The same name every year.

Your bookkeeper

Keeps the day-to-day tidy, chases missing receipts and flags anything odd before it becomes a problem.

Your payroll lead

Runs payslips and pensions on the same day every month, and answers your team's questions so you don't have to.

Switching is easy

You say yes. We do the awkward bit.

No need to call your old accountant or dig out passwords. Mid-year is fine. We pick up wherever they left off.

14days is a typical switch, from first yes to first check-in
  1. 1
    Day 1

    Agree your fee

A 20-minute call, then a one-page letter that sets out exactly what we do and what it costs.

  2. 2
    Days 2 to 7

    We contact your old accountant

We send the professional clearance letter and collect your records. You don't have to have that conversation.

  3. 3
    Days 3 to 10

    We get HMRC access

We register as your agent for Self Assessment, VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax, whichever apply.

  4. 4
    Day 14

    Your first check-in

We go through what we found, the next deadlines and anything we can fix or save you straight away.

Switching costs nothing extra. The handover is part of your first month.

Questions

Straight answers.

Anything else, ask on the call. It's free and it's 20 minutes.

Is the fee really fixed?

Yes. You pay the same each month for the year. If your business changes a lot, say you register for VAT or hire your first employee, we agree a new fee with you before anything changes. Never after.

Can I switch partway through the year?

Yes, and most people do. We take over from wherever your last accountant got to, including any returns already in progress.

Does Making Tax Digital apply to me?

If you're self-employed or a landlord, it started in April 2026 for qualifying income over £50,000, and it comes down to £30,000 in April 2027. That means quarterly updates to HMRC through approved software.

VAT-registered businesses are already on it. We set it up and send the updates for you.

Which software do I need?

Whatever you already use is usually fine. If you're starting from scratch, we'll recommend one that suits how you work and set it up with you.

What happens on the free call?

We ask about your business, check your guide fee and answer your questions. It takes 20 minutes. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
