How we choose our stone

Most paving looks fine in a brochure. We only stock what still looks right after ten winters, wet leaves and a family growing up across it.

Picked at source

We visit every quarry and factory we buy from, and turn down more batches than we take.

Cut for this climate

Every stone is tested for frost, slip and staining before it earns a place in a range.

Seen before you buy

Samples are cut from current stock, so what arrives is what gets laid.

A long sandstone wall rising out of dry grassland, with a single dark doorway
Sawn sandstone, laid in long courses. The same bed we cut our Harvest range from.

Collections

Six stones. No filler.

Each range comes in the finishes we think suit it best, in sizes that work for terraces, paths and steps. Add any to your sample box as you go.
